Hi, I booted up your game and am stuck at the character select screen. I highlighted all the portraits and the day/evening/night icons, pressed space/enter, nothing. also the evening icon is stuck in the "on" position and i have no idea what that means.
Ah, I should make Enter/Space select, but the select button is jump I believe. (Or A as default). Regardless, I'll look into it and see what's going on! First time I've heard of this occurring.
Without a doubt an excellent metroidvania. Even more in the Cyberpunk subgenre, which I really like. It has enormous potential for a sensational indie game. With improvements and a lot of effort, this game will be wonderful. Congratulations for your work.
Thank you! I still have a very long way to go, especially fixing up more things and giving the other character's the rest of their moves (At least for the demo).
So cool! Everything is amazing, from the art, to the gameplay.
The game is very pleasant when you get used to the controls (and yes, I don't like your controls, I personally prefers space: jump, D: attack, S: dash, A:Item, Q/E Change weapon)
Also, how do you quit the game? (I don't find any quit button... edit: ok found it)
Thank you so much! And yeah, a lot of my testers told me my standard controls are rough, so once I get a general set of controls that work I will properly change it to those! I also need to make the exit a little more noticeable. Regardless, thank you so much for the feedback!

add controller support and remapping while youre at it - better to put in the accessibility features now rather than later
And mac/Linux support
